ABOUT THE ETF
The Environment Trust Fund (ETF) was established in 1994 (The Environment Trust Fund Order, S.I 39 of 1994), under the Public Finances (Control and Management) Act. The Order was revised in April 2017 and again in 2020. The Ministry of Environment, Climate, Energy and Natural Resources (MECENR), through an Executive Committee, is responsible for the administration of the Fund.
CALL FOR PROPOSAL
SeyCCAT, in collaboration with ETF, is pleased to launch Cycle 1 of the Environment Trust Fund (ETF 1) and is inviting all locally registered non-governmental or community-based organisations, Districts, Parastatal organisations, and Seychellois citizens to apply for the Environmental Trust Fund (ETF 1)
WHAT WE SUPPORT
For this call for proposals, we will only support projects that fall within one or more of the following priority areas:
1.Environmental Protection & Biodiversity Conservation
2.Pollution Reduction & Waste Management
3.Environmental Education & Awareness
4.Research, Innovation & Sustainable Development
FUNDING LIMITS

| Capacity Building (trainings, workshops, research) | SCR 100,000 | 12 months |
| Community Scientific Research | SCR 40,000 | 6 months |
| NGO-led Environmental Projects | SCR 200,000 | 18 months |
| Community-Based Environmental Initiatives | SCR 50,000 | 6 months |
| Education & Awareness Projects | SCR 100,000 | 6–12 months |
| Attendance at International Environmental Events | SCR 30,000 | One-off |
HOW TO APPLY
Applicants are advised to read the full Request for Proposal before applying. If eligible, proceed with filling out the official ETF Application Form and submit it to info@seyccat by May, 27,2026 at 4 pm at the latest.
